Ted Myerson, Founder & CEO
Ted manages and is responsible for all aspects of FTEN's business. He is frequently a featured speaker at industry conferences providing thought leadership and regulatory reform. As the founder and CEO of FTEN, Ted has built the company into the preeminent real-time risk management software company in the industry today.
Prior to founding FTEN in 2001, Ted was Co-Founder and President of ECN Access Europe, Partner at Sterling Securities and a financial auditor at Kaufman, Rossin & Co., specializing in hedge funds.

Keith Jamaitis, Head of Global Business Development
Keith is primarily responsible for FTEN’s global business development as well as helping to direct strategy for FTEN and SMARTS products. He also works to continue to develop FTEN’s growing institution technology business lines.
Most recently, before coming to FTEN, Keith held the positions of Chief Operations Officer within an agency brokerage group, and Business Development for Global Institutional Electronic Executions with Assent LLC, a fully owned brokerage of SunGard Data Systems. Keith was also a Director at Citi where he was the Head of OMS Product Management and Electronic Execution Services in the Electronic Execution business unit (previously known as Lava Trading) and served as President of NYFIX.

John Kain, Director of Global Product Management
John is responsible for the strategy and delivery of FTEN’s cross-market risk management and execution solutions, allowing firms to grow their trading business in a rapidly evolving marketplace.
Prior to joining FTEN, John served as Chief Operating Officer at Trading Metrics, a venture backed software company that provided real time, highly accurate latency measurements of financial systems. John’s career also includes over 15 years in the financial services industry, including senior technology and investment positions at firms such as Bear Stearns, Citigroup and VantagePoint Venture Partners.

Gary LaFever, Chief Corporate Development Officer
Gary is responsible for evaluating and executing FTEN's key strategic initiatives to secure FTEN's long-term growth, success, and sustainability, including regulatory reform and intellectual property strategies.
Prior to joining FTEN in 2001, Gary served as Chief Executive Officer of Antirion, Chief Executive Officer of Internet2Anywhere, Chief Operating Officer of WomenCONNECT.com, Chief Legal Officer of Nat Systems International, Partner with Hogan & Hartson, and Management Information Consultant at Accenture Global Management Consulting.

Brian Crowley, Global Head of Client Services
Brian is responsible for managing client enablement, service and support for FTEN's high frequency execution platforms, real-time pre-trade risk controls, trade surveillance and regulatory reporting services.
Brian is most recently from JP Morgan where he served as Executive Director, Broker Dealer Services Electronic Trading Product Development. Previously, he served as Managing Director in the Global Equities division of Bear Stearns and has held various positions in the Treasury function at the IBM Retirement Fund. |

Valerie Bannert-Thurner, Managing Director - European Operations
Valerie is responsible for adapting FTEN's business model to the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) communities, establishing strategic business and technology partnering arrangements, identifying and championing new requirements into product development, and increasing FTEN's leadership and quality of service across Europe.
Valerie has a B.S.M.E., M.S. and Ph.D. in Strategic Management from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, ETH Zurich.

Lee Cole, Managing Director - Research and Development
Lee is responsible for leading FTEN's Research and Development division and designing new and innovative products and solutions to meet the demands of managing global systemic risk.
Prior to joining FTEN, Lee headed the Research Lab for Quark, served as Vice-President of Engineering of Spatial Technology, was Director of Development for eoTek and the Vice-President of Research and Development at UNISYS CD/CAM. He also served as Program Manager for Honeywell and the U.S. Department of Energy.

Michael Karbouris, Managing Director - Asia-Pacific Operations
Michael is responsible for business development, product strategy and expansion of FTEN in Asia. Most recently he oversaw business development efforts for FTEN in the United States.
In 2009, Michael led Australian financial technology firm SMARTS Group into the U.S. market and established the company’s New York office, prior to NASDAQ OMX’s acquisition of SMARTS in July 2010. Before this, he oversaw business development and client services across Asia-Pacific for SMARTS Group's broker business.
Michael holds a Master of Philosophy in Banking & Finance from the University of New South Wales, and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Technology Sydney.
