Ted Myerson, President
 
Ted Myerson is the President and Founder of FTEN, Inc. Mr. Myerson is a recognized expert in high-speed, low latency, order routing systems, as well as real time risk management and compliance surveillance technology. He is a featured speaker at leading financial industry conferences. Prior to founding FTEN, Mr. Myerson was Co-Founder and President of ECN Access Europe, Partner at Sterling Securities and a financial auditor at Kaufman, Rossin & Co., specializing in hedge funds.

Mr. Myerson received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with double majors in Accounting and Finance from the University of Miami.

Doug Kittelsen, Chief Technology/Product Officer
Doug Kittelsen is Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer of FTEN, Inc. Doug is responsible for managing the product life-cycle for FTEN's products including design, development and deployment. He is also co-author of several pending patents in the area of risk management and market data processing.

Prior to joining FTEN, Doug served as CTO of MediaMap, a Warburg Pincus Equity Partners backed media research tool provider after his company, Firewater, was acquired; He was Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Firewater.com, an application service provider that supported Fortune 500 companies with the tools to create dynamic, personalized Web content. He was also named a ComputerWorld/Smithsonian Laureate for Technology Innovation. Prior to Firewater, Doug was a Senior Principal with American Management Systems, an international systems consulting company, where he ran many of the leading edge technology projects focused on high-throughput processes and advanced data manipulation for companies throughout the US and Europe.

Doug has a Bachelor of Science in Management from Binghamton University's School of Management.

Lee Cole, VP Research and Development

 

Lee Cole is the Director of Development at FTEN, Inc. Lee brings over 20 years of experience in Research and Development management. Prior to joining FTEN, Lee headed the Research Lab for Quark, the industry leader in commercial digital media and desktop publishing. Before that Lee was: Vice-President of Engineering of Spatial Technology (making the engine beneath AutoCAD), Director of Development for eoTek (a mortgage banking unit of Bank of America), and Vice-President of Research and Development at UNISYS CAD/CAM. Prior to that Lee served a Program Manager leading research and new development efforts for Honeywell and the US Department of Energy. During an academic career he served on the Physics faculties of Tulane, Dartmouth, and Iowa State.

Mr. Cole received his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Theoretical Physics from Dartmouth

Gary LaFever, General Counsel 

Gary LaFever is the General Counsel at FTEN, Inc. Prior to joining FTEN, Gary was Chief Executive Officer of Antirion, the wireless Internet engine behind Ticketmaster-City Search. Before that Gary was: Chief Executive Officer of Internet2Anywhere, an Israeli wireless Internet technology company backed by Citigroup Investments and ING Barings; Chief Operating Officer of WomenCONNECT.com, an Internet / New Media company backed by GE Capital and CNN; Vice President and General Counsel of Nat Systems International, a French software developer backed by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers; Partner at Hogan & Hartson, a leading international law firm; and Management Information Consultant at Accenture Global Management Consulting.

Gary received his Juris Doctor from the American University Washington College of Law, with an emphasis in computer law, and his Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University, with a dual major in Marketing and Management Information Systems and a minor in Information Technology.
